TWO-SESSION STUDY for Children 6 to 14 years of age
BIMODAL MEMORY FOR ORDER STUDY
IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ SCHEDULING DETAILS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS 2-SESSION STUDY:
Session 1 and Session 2 must occur at the same time within 7 days of each other. As an example, if you would sign up for Saturday, April 13th @ 9:30 am, you would need to be able to present the following Saturday, April 20th @ 9:30 am. When we open the calendar for scheduling, you can sign up for the first session using the calendar that we’ll provide in the study link. Just make sure you can return at the same time and on the same day the following week. Once you present and complete your first session, we'll send you a confirmation email and notification reminders for your second session. Please ensure you're able to commit to BOTH sessions before signing up.
Projected Start and End Date:
April 2024 THRU August 2024 or upon completion
Scheduling will be available one to two months at a time so please return to the link if you wish to schedule an appointment for a later date.
ABOUT PARTICIPATION AND SCHEDULING:
- HOW MANY TIMES CAN I PARTICIPATE?
You may participate in as few or as many studies as you like as long as you meet the eligibility requirements. - CAN I PARTICIPATE MORE THAN ONCE IN THE SAME STUDY?
You may only participate one time in each study for which you qualify. - CAN I ONLY SIGN UP WITHIN THE PROJECTED START AND END DATES?
The studies will remain posted and scheduling available until we’ve met the total number of participants needed to complete the study in full so feel free to check back even if the projected end date has passed. - WHAT IF I CAN’T SIGN UP BECAUSE THERE ARE NO DAYS OR TIMES AVAILABLE FOR THE STUDY I’M INTERESTED IN?
If days and times are shaded and/or the words, “No Availability” appear in a box over the week you’re interested in scheduling, those times are booked or we have met the participant number required for this study. However, please revisit the study link because often times the dates of the study are extended and reopened for sign-up if there are cancellations or additional participants are needed. - WHAT IF I’M INELIGIBLE or MY CHILDREN ARE INELIGIBLE FOR CURRENT STUDY LISTINGS OR THERE’S NO CURRENT PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE?
You are welcome to complete the following form and we'll be happy to contact you for future studies OR you can simply return to this page. All of the information that you provide will be kept confidential on a secure server at the University of Missouri Columbia and will not be shared with any third parties. - CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I DO NOT RESIDE IN THE UNITED STATES?
No. All participants must reside within the United States. - WHEN PARTICIPATING ONLINE VIA ZOOM, CAN I LOG IN FROM A DEVICE THAT IS LOCATED OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES?
No. All participants must log in from a United States location. - WHEN PARTICIPATING ONLINE VIA ZOOM, HOW AM I PAID?
Payment can be made via Venmo or PayPal OR we can send via standard mail to your residence.
IMPORTANT!!! Please be advised that we do not make payments to foreign accounts or send to residences located outside of the United States. This means that if a participant payment is entered via Venmo or PayPal using an account supplied by the parent/participant and foreign fees are applied before the payment is confirmed and sent, payment will be cancelled and forfeited by the parent/participant since eligibility requirements clearly state that participants must reside within the United States and have an account/payment method associated with their residency within the United States. - HOW DO I GET PAID VIA VENMO OR PAYPAL?
IMPORTANT!!! If you prefer to be paid via Venmo or PayPal, the account MUST be in your name and associated with your personal email address or cell phone to verify authentication. We cannot send to business profiles, relatives, friends, or non-residing parents.
